Lithuania have a lack of specific tests, which assess the balance and are validity of the Lithuanian language, while most of the world has been validyti for use in their own language of the various tests to investigate and assess the balance . In reach to get better medical diagnosis among older people needed specific assessment scales, which are oriented in a deep patient examination. ,,Fullerton advanced balance‘‘ scale is widely used in the world in terms of a higher level of functionality for older people. This scale provides information about older people balance and also about their physical condition. ,,Tinetti performance oriented mobility‘‘ assessment scale is reliable and is used in many countries around the world to assess older people's balance and gait , as well as the scale provides information about the personal safety of the movement . Aim: To comparethe different scales of balance and mobility: ,,Fullerton advanced balance‘‘ scale and ,,Tinetti performance oriented mobility‘‘ assessment scale and to prepare them for use in Lithuanian language. Task: 1.To investigate balance and mobility evaluation scales, which are use in Lithuania, translate and prepare ,,Fullerton advanced balance‘‘ scale and ,,Tinetti performance oriented mobility‘‘ assessment scales to use in Lithuania language. 2.To evaluate elderly people balance using ,,Fullerton advanced balance‘‘ scale and to compare it with the rezults of Berg balance scale . 3.To evaluate elderly people balance using ,,Fullerton advanced balance‘‘ scale and to compare it with the rezults of balance evulating tests. 4.To evaluate elderly people mobility (balance anf gait) using ,,Tinetti performance oriented mobility‘‘ assessment scales and to compare it with the rezults of Berg balance scale. Hypothesis: ,,Fullerton advanced balance‘‘and ,,Tinetti performance oriented mobility‘‘ assessment scales for elderly people is suitable for using in Lithuanian language. Findings: 1.There is no instruments officially used to investigate elderly people balance and mobility, prepared ,,Fullerton advanced balance‘‘ scale and ,,Tinetti performance oriented mobility‘‘ assessment scales to use in Lithuanian language. 2.Assessment of elderly persons balance ,,Fullerton Advanced Balance‘‘ Scale the results are more comprehensive than Berg balance scale. 3.Assessment of elderly persons balance ,,Fullerton Advanced Balance‘‘ Scale are more comprehensive than the evaluating balance tests. 4.Assessment of elderly mobility (balance and gait) using ,,Tinetti performance oriented mobility‘‘ assessment scale, the person assessed using the criteria of more than assessing the Berg balance scale and balance is better using ,, Tinetti performance oriented mobility‘‘ assessment scale
